Greetings!

My name is Tiarra.

I am the Assistant Director and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Holocaust Educational Foundation of Northwestern University.* As a scholar in Holocaust Studies, my interests surround reproduction during and after the Nazi Regime. This includes:

  • Gender and the Holocaust
  • History of sexuality and sexuality-based persecution
  • Medical histories of the Nazi Regime and postwar reparations
  • Nazi-authorized sterilizations (experimental and conventional)
  • Postwar family-building and kinship-formations
  • Feminist studies of science, medicine, and reproduction

Other areas of research include:

  • The Romani Holocaust
  • Graphic novels on the Holocaust
